Google ignored it the same way they ignore the normal meta keywords tag.<\/p>\n<p>Google introduced the news meta keywords tag specifically for publishers in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/searchengineland.com\/google-announces-news-keywords-metatag-133759\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2012<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-center\"><span
