Daily Search Forum Recap: November 12, 2021

Google has pushed out three Product Reviews Updates, the latest being in March 2022. There was some confusion on if that March Product Reviews Update was more global in nature or just was focused on English language content. I wrote it was English only and I was right (this time).

Google seems to be testing a grid-like format for local results in the mobile web search results. We see these grid formats primarily for product and shopping search results, but I don’t think I’ve seen this for local search listings.

As we have been expecting, Google has rolled out more ways for businesses to message and communicate with customers. Plus, Google is also rolling out more performance insights reports to see how customers are finding your business in Google Maps and Search.
