Google’s John Mueller said on Twitter that when it comes to Google understanding and ranking documents, Google looks at more than just text on a page. He aimed this comment at a question around core updates and a site being hit by a core update.

Google Confirms No Broad Core Update Since December 2020
Danny Sullivan of Google confirmed that Google has not released a new broad core update since the company last confirmed one in December of last year, December 2020. Danny said on Twitter “we haven’t had a broad core update. We do announce those,” when asked about if there was some sort of update recently.
GoogleProducer: A New Googlebot Crawler From Google?
Google may be crawling the web with a new crawler, a new Googlebot, named GoogleProducer. This useragent is not listed on the official Google crawlers page but maybe it is too new to be listed yet?
