Google’s John Mueller was asked on Twitter if 301 redirected links pass full credit or not. John responded that “I wouldn’t see it as “full credit or not”, but rather – as mentioned in our docs – it’s a good practice for any move to update the important old links to point at the right new pages.”

Google Does Not Use Disavow Files To Target Link Networks
Google’s John Mueller said again that Google does not use the link disavow files for discovery of spammy link networks. He said on Twitter “usually problematic link networks are easier to recognize in other ways. I don’t think the disavow tool would be a very useful signal there.”

Google has released a new spam or as they call it, search quality feedback form. This form allows you to submit feedback around not just spam but paid links, malicious behavior, low quality, and other search quality issues.
