We’re thrilled to announce the pillars of the 2022 DIY Musician Conference.
Yes, there are dozens of workshops and mentor sessions planned this year, each of them giving you a chance to go deep on specific strategies, platforms, or techniques.
But we also think it’s crucial to explore some of the big, universal questions:
- How can my music make a lasting impact and emotional connection?
- How can I stay inspired, challenged, and evolving as an artist?
- How do I become a more charismatic performer?
- How will “the industry” and audiences respond to my music?
That’s why we’re hosting these 5 keynotes:
1. Kara DioGuardi + Ross Golan
These multi-platinum and Grammy-nominated songwriters will sharpen your writing and production skills, as they put volunteers’ music in the hot-seat for a “Shark Tank” style critique session. Between the two of them, they’ve written songs for Maroon 5, Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Kelly Clarkson, Celine Dion, Meat Loaf, and dozens more.
2. Austin Kleon
This NYT-bestselling author will help you unlock a more fulfilling creative process that showcases your true artistic voice.
3. Tom Jackson + Amy Wolter
These legendary “live music producers” are back by popular demand to transform an artist’s performance right before our eyes. This is always a conference highlight.
4. Enrique Chi + Making Movies
This celebrated songwriter and eclectic band will teach you how to create music that crosses distances and changes hearts.
5. Carnage the Executioner
Building hype and inspiration through live-looping, beatboxing, and rapping, Carnage will kick off our conference with a motivational performance.
We’re really grateful to these speakers for participating in the 2022 DIY Musician Conference. And these are just five keynotes out of dozens of sessions you can attend online or in-person, this August 26-28.
The live event is happening in Austin, Texas, but your ticket gets you access to both the IRL and virtual conference. You choose!
$149 tickets will be gone by July 15th.
