Social media company Meta is instituting a hiring freeze and warning employees about further restructuring and downsizing.  The announcement came from CEO Mark Zuckerberg on an internal all-hands call, Bloomberg reported. The company, which owns Facebook, Instagram, and Whatsapp, will reportedly be slashing budgets across most teams. This announcement comes just one week after the Wall Street Journal reported certain Meta employees have been told to find new roles in the company or face downsizing. Some popular brands have paused their Twitter marketing campaigns after discovering that their ads had appeared alongside child pornography accounts. Affected brands. There were reportedly more than 30 brands that appeared on the profile pages of Twitter accounts peddling links to the exploitative material. Google’s John Mueller has put down some strong language against changing your URLs for SEO reasons alone. He basically said in most cases, changing URLs will have a negative impact on SEO and that you probably should not change URLs just for SEO reasons.

Google Ads continues to suffer from ongoing latency issues – mostly from the Google Ads console. This is the place advertisers go in and manage their ads. It has become a joke about how the console can slow down and become almost unusable.
