10 years ago, the folks at Search Engine Land (that includes me) released the first edition of the SEO Periodic Table. Since then, we’ve updated the table a few times as SEO has changed over the years. We did it again for the 10th anniversary of the table – and I honestly think this version is the best one yet.

Google Helpful Content Update Movement? Yes But Not Widespread.
There seems to be a lot of confusion around the Google helpful content update and if it is “big” or not big. That all depends on if you were hit by it, if you were, oh boy is it really big for you. But in terms of how widespread it is, so far, it is not affecting many many sites.
Google Search Tests Blue Header
Ric Rodriguez has spotted Google testing a blue colored header for the mobile search results. He shared a number of screenshots on Twitter -here is a side by side of a normal white header for the Google Search bar compared to the blue header for the Google search bar.
