Google announced it is adding social channels within the Google Search Console Insights report. This “lets you review Search performance of social channels associated with your website directly within Search Console,” Google wrote.

Google Search Ranking Volatility Hits September 23rd & 24th
We are seeing significant volatility again within the Google Search rankings again, this time starting around September 23rd (maybe the 22nd) and throughout today. As we have been seeing, the chatter is generally slowing down as Google has been sending less and less traffic to sites, but I believe there are enough signals to say there was some sort of unconfirmed Google Search ranking update.
Google Search About This Data Hyperlink
Google is sometimes showing a hyperlink at the bottom of its search results named “About this data.” This links to a Google help document in Merchant Center support named “How Google sources and uses information in the brand profile.”
Google Business Profiles Information Edit Rejection Notice
Google is now sending emails to business owners when a Google Business Profile information edit was rejected. The email subject line says “A recent information edit was rejected,” and then it tells you more details on why and allows you to read the policy and then appeal the decision.
