Google AI Mode Improves Links For Recipes, Again
Recipe bloggers really have Google’s ear, as Google has made yet another official change to its AI Mode recipe results. Google’s Robby Stein announced on X the launch of “a new visual treatment making it even easier to discover and visit recipe pages with AI Mode.” He added there are now “prominent links at the top of responses with useful details and images ‘” like the creator name, recipe ratings and number of ingredients.”
Google Testing For Reference Search Box
Google is testing a new search box named “for reference” which is placed under a set of search results and contains more news articles related to the query. This seems similar to some other features Google has tested over the years.
Microsoft Tests 9 Ads & Only Bing Free Search Results On Same Page
Microsoft was caught testing way too many ads on its Bing Search results page. I saw 9 ads and only two organic/free listings on the page for a query on [garage door repair].
