Google is doing away with the related search format for Google AdSense auto ads. Google said it will be retired on August 6, 2026. Google sent out an email to those impacted that says starting August 6, 2026, the Related Search format will no longer appear on your site. It will also be removed as a format option from the AdSense frontend.

A couple of weeks ago, Google seemed to accidentally publish its Web Search Service API documentation, then pulled it down last week. Google doesn’t offer a public Web Search Service API, so we really can’t access it, but I assume it does have some partners with access, like Apple.
Google Search About This Data Hyperlink
Google is sometimes showing a hyperlink at the bottom of its search results named “About this data.” This links to a Google help document in Merchant Center support named “How Google sources and uses information in the brand profile.”
