We’ve all been complaining about the lack of citations and links in the new Google AI Overviews. Recently Google began testing icons for link citations in the AI Overviews and has been testing them on and off. Here is one of those with tons of link icons, like about 20 of them, for one AI Overview.

Billions Of Google goo.gl URLs Will No Longer Work
Google announced that it will stop serving the Google URL Shortener, so any URL that was set up to redirect using goo.gl, which Google stopped supporting adding new ones back in 2019, will also stop serving.
Google Ads Updates Certification Process For Cryptocurrency
Google is rolling out an update for Google Ads advertisers to certify for some cryptocurrency and complex speculative financial products. This is “incrementally to all advertisers over a period of time and not all advertisers and certification applications will be affected immediately,” Google wrote.
