Last week, Google sent out a bulk load of reverification requests to Google Business Profiles. Well, according to Google’s Rick Saxe, it was a bug and the bug should be fixed as of the past day or so.

They analyzed over 100,000 Googlebot fetches across various sites to test and validate Google’s SEO capabilities. In short, Google Search handles JavaScript incredibly well, almost as well as normal web pages.
Google May Be Using Generic & Undocumented Google Crawler
There are numerous reports that Google may be using a more generic and undocumented Googlebot, Google crawler. The crawler user agent is just named “Google,” and it is not listed in any of the documented crawlers that Google has provided.
