Google AdSense has added three new settings to Auto optimize feature in your optimization experiments. These new methods include select traffic, block a style and block an experiment.

Google’s John Mueller said on Twitter that the search company has no plans to separate out indexing and visibility controls specifically between Google News, Search, Discover or Top Stories. If you are in Search, you can be in the top stories carousel and there isn’t a whole set of individual controls for each feature.

Google has a new (I think new) filter in the Google Search Console Performance report named Cross-language Results. I have never seen this filter, but I suspect this is related to if Google Search will take other languages, translate them for you, and include them in the search results.

We have seen lots of SEO threats in the past, mostly around negative SEO but I have not seen one threaten to delete a whole website. Someone went to Twitter asking for advice from Google on how to deal with such a threat.

Google has replaced the “feedback” link we’ve seen on knowledge panels in Google Search with a “report” link. It is a small, subtle change but I guess Google felt “report” means a lot more to someone trying to change a knowledge panel in Google Search.
